A Late Post for Good Reason

We’ve been busy today! We basically spent the whole day walking around a huge fortress and castle called the Alcazaba and the Castillo de Gibralfaro. I use the term “castle” loosely because there wasn’t a typical castle where you could go inside and see different rooms. It was just another lookout point with walls and a good vantage point of the city. But I digress.

The first picture shows an ancient Roman theater with the Alcazaba (the fortress) behind it. The second picture shows me standing at the top of the castle overlooking the city. It was really windy and bright. And the third picture shows the bullfighting plaza and the sea. It was very pretty up there since you could see the whole city practically.

We’ve also been busy because we’ve been planning our travels and have decided to continue on to Granada tomorrow! And we’re going by bus! Yes, a charter bus is cheaper and quicker than going by train. Who knew! So that’ll be a fun experience tomorrow. It’s a two hour bus ride, and we bought our tickets this evening at the bus station. Well now it’s a trip, right? Haha. I think we’ll probably head back to Valencia after Granada, but we haven’t fully decided yet.
