Well, what do you know. Casey and I are still in Lagos. We were all set to leave last night, but the flight was cancelled! Apparently the plane needs maintenance. Bummer! We are hoping that it gets fixed soon so we can depart on Wednesday evening. *crosses fingers* In the meantime, we plan to get a few things done around here and wait patiently to hear about the plane.
On a related note, we haven’t received our vehicle yet either! There was an issue at customs, so it’s taking longer than expected. We don’t think it’ll arrive before we travel, so we’ll just have to manage and see it when we return.
That’s it for now. Today is Casey’s official birthday! Maybe we will buy some candy or something to celebrate. We already ate some of the cake that was in the freezer last night, and what did I tell you. It thawed perfectly. Happy housebound couple.

I feel bad as you guys do :( Just think of it as it wasn’t meant for you to fly on Monday/Tuesday. Happy Birthday Casey! will see you guys on Thursday.. I love you both very much :)
